No Added Sulfites

Find on this page our selection of boxed wines, produced without any oenological additives or sulfites (SO2).

As a reminder, in conventional winemaking, 48 chemical products are authorized for wine production. Here, nothing but grapes! It is the assurance of an authentic taste, a living wine, as close as possible to the terroir... everything we stand for at LET IT BiB! But beware: wine without sulfites is more fragile, so it requires special care, particularly regarding storage. And a living wine also means a surprising wine, evolving over time, different from standard versions. In other words: if Catherine Bernard's Carignan doesn't taste exactly like the Carignan of your memories, for example, that's normal!

Using the navigation filters on the left of your screen, refine your choice based on the wine region (Alsace, Beaujolais, Bordeaux, Loire, Jura, Rhône, Burgundy...), the color of the wine (red, white, rosé, orange...), grape varieties (Grenache, Chenin, Chardonnay, Pinot, Syrah...), volume (3 or 5-liter boxes), and price.

Elegance, iconic grape varieties, exceptional terroirs: this is the promise of wines with no added sulfites, true jewels of authenticity. Whether it's fruity red wines, fresh whites, or surprising orange wines, enthusiasts seek purity and finesse. Without additive sulfur, these wines reveal the aromatic complexity of great grape varieties and the singularity of the terroirs of Languedoc, Roussillon, and beyond. This gives each vintage a unique character. At Let it BiB, we passionately select boxed wines without sulfites, resulting from natural vinification and demanding organic
farming. We present them to you here.

What is a wine without
sulfites?

A wine without sulfites, or more precisely without added sulfites, is a beverage resulting from natural vinification where no sulfur is addedduring fermentation or aging. It is necessary to distinguish between naturally
occurring sulfites, resulting from grape fermentation, and sulfites added by the winemaker to stabilize, protect against oxidation, and extend the wine's shelf life.

Traditionally, sulfites play an antioxidant and antimicrobial role. They help protect the aromas, color, and freshness of the wine, whether it is a red, white, or orange wine. However,
their presence in excess can mask natural aromas, alter the bouquet, and cause allergic reactions in some consumers.

Wines without added sulfites fully express the purity of the grape variety, the aromatic richness of the terroir, and the freshness of the vintage. This offers a more authentic
and lively tasting experience. To preserve this quality, bag-in-box (BIB) packaging is ideal: it protects the wine from oxidation thanks to an airtight pouch and a tap that prevents air from entering. It is ideal for ensuring optimal preservation of aromas and prolonged freshness.

At Let it BiB, we rigorously select vintages without added sulfites, derived from organic farming and meticulous vinification, to offer you natural, fruity, and expressive wines to enjoy with confidence.

Our selection of wines without
sulfites in BIB

At Let it BiB, we highlight vintages without added sulfites, from passionate winemakers and exceptional terroirs. These red wines reveal the purity of the grape variety, the freshness of the fruit, and the uniqueness of the vintage.

It should be noted that wines without sulfitesare distinguished by their intense aromatic expression, silky tannins, beautiful structure, and a delicious finish. Our vintages
come from iconic wine regions such as Beaujolais, the Loire, or the Jura. They showcase grape varieties such as Gamay, Melon de Bourgogne, or Savagnin.

Le Haut Planty (Alain & Christian Couillaud) - Allez, bon
vin ! 2024 (Vin de France)

Le Haut Planty, "Allez, bon vin !" 2024 vintage, expresses all the freshness and minerality of the Melon de Bourgognegrown on the slopes of the Loire. This white wine, vinified without additives and aged in concrete vats, seduces with its aromas of exotic fruits, its roundness, and its lemony bitterness. It perfectly accompanies goat cheese, sushi, or a lemon tart, with the finesse and unique flavor of the grape variety.

Jean-François Debourg - Ronchon de père en fils 2023 (AOC
Beaujolais)

For lovers of powerful red wines, the "Ronchon de père en fils" 2023 vintage from Jean-François Debourg, AOC Beaujolais, offers a superb expression of Gamay noir à jus blanc. Resulting from manual harvesting on clay-limestone soils, vinified with indigenous yeasts and no added sulfites, it reveals spicy notes.

One can also find flavors of ripe black fruitsand an assertive tannic structure. This red wine, unfiltered and unfined, pairs wonderfully with a pâté en croûte, a Lyonnais sausage, or a lentil salad, for an authentic and delicious tasting.

Famille Villet - Savagnin ouillé 2020 (AOC Arbois)

The Famille Villetoffers a Savagnin ouillé 2020, AOC Arbois, which embodies the excellence of the Jura vineyard. This white wine, from vines farmed using organic methods since 1988 and hand-harvested, is vinified without additives or sulfites, then aged without fining or filtration.

It presents a saffron color, an explosive nose, and a
dense palatewith aromas of apricot, hay, and citrus zest, with a long, tangy finish. Ideal as an accompaniment to an aged Comté, smoked trout, or a citrus salad, it highlights the aromatic richness and freshness of the Savagnin grape variety.

Why choose a box of wine
without sulfites?

Opting for a box of wine without sulfitesat Let it BiB means choosing an oenological experience that is simultaneously authentic, ecological, and economical. The bag-in-box (BIB)format has established itself today as an innovative and environmentally friendly alternative, especially for lovers of natural and organic wines.

Thanks to its reduced carbon footprint, BIB is 7 to 9 times more ecological than the traditional glass bottle. This packaging preserves the freshness, typicality, and aromatic purity of red, white, or orange winesmade from grape varieties such as:

· Grenache,

· Pinot Noir,

· Chardonnay, or

· Gamay.

By limiting oxidation through an airtight pouch and a tap that prevents air from entering, the BIB perfectly protects
wines without added sulfites. This configuration makes it possible to guarantee a tasting faithful to the expression of the terroir, the vintage, and the grape variety.

The value for moneyof the box of wine without sulfites is also remarkable. The BIB is also offered
at a price often 20 to 30% lower than the equivalent in bottles. This allows you to savor exceptional vintages, crafted by passionate winemakers, while keeping your budget under control.

Are you a fan of fruity wines, powerful red wines, or aromatic white wines? The box format offers a great variety of crus from prestigious terroirs such as Languedoc, Roussillon, Burgundy, or the Loire. It adapts just as well to moments of sharing as to more intimate tastings. At Let it BiB, we select boxed wines that perfectly combine freshness, finesse, and authenticity. Our goal is to guarantee you the best of natural wine, without compromise.

Tips for properly storing your
wines without sulfites in BIB

To fully enjoy the aromatic richness and freshnessof your wines without sulfites in BIB, it is essential to respect a few storage rules. To this end, it is recommended to install your box in a cool place, away from light and temperature variations, ideally around 12 to 15°C.

Also avoid any exposure to heat,
which could alter the tannic structure, minerality, and fruit aromas of your red, white, or orange wines. Thanks to the airtight system of the bag-in-box, the shelf life after opening reaches up to 6 weeks, without risk of oxidation, which allows you to enjoy each glass under optimal conditions.

Since wines without sulfites are more sensitive to oxygen, it is recommended to consume the contents of the BIB within
two months after opening. You will thus be able to preserve the purity of the grape variety, the freshness of the vintage, and the typicality of the terroir. For powerful red wines, a slight decanting can reveal all the aromatic complexity, while white and orange wines are best enjoyed well chilled.

Finally, be sure to keep the BIB in a vertical position and not to puncture the pouch, in order to ensure optimal preservation of your natural vintages. At Let it BiB, we
accompany you so that every tasting is a moment of pleasure, discovery, and respect for the work of the winemaker and the vineyard.
