Pleine Tête 2022 (AOC Beaujolais-Villages)
/
#Exclusive #NewArrival
“Must-have” alert for explorer naturists! You might know Yann Bertrand? Today we’re introducing his cousin Baptiste, the other prodigy of the family, also an active member of the new generation of Beaujolais nature, from the punk-anarchist wing.
Still low-profile in the media, he is one of those winemakers whose reputation is growing through word-of-mouth among wine merchants, sommeliers, and enthusiasts.
Same production secrets as his cousin (pampered grapes, careful sorting, short maceration, slow pressing, science and patience...) for a result in perfect harmony: zest, intense fruit, beautiful aging, subtle, lovely length... and that little touch of insolence that we really like.
A true, unfiltered wine (and very low in sulfites). Purists might quibble, but we see a lot of talent and nerve here. It's the balance that counts! An explosive glass of freedom.

🤗 Our tasting & storage tips
🤗 Our tasting & storage tips
Recommended serving temperatures:
- White and rosé wines: between 7 and 10°C
- Light red wines, orange wines (skin-contact whites), and "blouges" (light red-white blends): around 13°C
- Structured red wines: between 15 and 18°C
It is always better to serve a wine slightly too cool than too warm.
BIB (bag-in-box) wines are very good if you serve them directly from the tap. But "to your surprise," you will find that they always benefit from being decanted or bottled 15 to 30 minutes before tasting.
Before and after opening, it is ideal to store your BIB wine at a constant temperature below 20°C. The closer the storage temperature is to 14°C, the longer the wine will keep.
Once opened, under good storage conditions, the BIB preserves the organoleptic qualities of the wine for at least 4 weeks.
BIB wine, like bottled wine, has no "use by" date or "best before" date.
That said, BIB wine is not intended for cellar aging. We recommend consuming it within 2 months of purchase.
Note: Red and orange wines keep better and longer than white and rosé wines. Thank the tannins for that!
Enjoy your tasting! 🍷🍷
