Sling-Sling! 2024 (Vin de France) • 5 liters

#Exclusive #BackInCellar
Sling-sling, like the sound of the flints that sharpened this Riesling, sharp as a samurai sword; like the sound of glasses clinking to celebrate this new collaboration with PéPIN and the birth of this absolute Alsatian firecracker.
After all, considering how long Pierre and his team have been sniffing around each other, it was time for it to end with a big hug... and a big glass! Sling-sling is the fruit of this wonderful encounter, season 2. A "laser" Riesling, mineral, with notes of yuzu, pomelo, lime, and green tomato.
Nervous, vibrant, vinified without fuss or chemistry, it’s our favorite crush for our fines de claires, ceviches, asparagus, spring rolls, vegetable tempura, poke bowls, citrus salads…
Very happy (and proud, too 😉) to share this little gem with you today. Cheers, PéPIN crew!

🤗 Our tasting & storage tips
🤗 Our tasting & storage tips
Recommended serving temperatures:
- White and rosé wines: between 7 and 10°C
- Light red wines, orange wines (skin-contact whites), and "blouges" (light red-white blends): around 13°C
- Structured red wines: between 15 and 18°C
It is always better to serve a wine slightly too cool than too warm.
BIB (bag-in-box) wines are very good if you serve them directly from the tap. But "to your surprise," you will find that they always benefit from being decanted or bottled 15 to 30 minutes before tasting.
Before and after opening, it is ideal to store your BIB wine at a constant temperature below 20°C. The closer the storage temperature is to 14°C, the longer the wine will keep.
Once opened, under good storage conditions, the BIB preserves the organoleptic qualities of the wine for at least 4 weeks.
BIB wine, like bottled wine, has no "use by" date or "best before" date.
That said, BIB wine is not intended for cellar aging. We recommend consuming it within 2 months of purchase.
Note: Red and orange wines keep better and longer than white and rosé wines. Thank the tannins for that!
Enjoy your tasting! 🍷🍷
