#Back to the cellar
Barba-bib... Barba-bubbles! Let it BIB is now offering fine bubbles… Venetian style! But don't call it Prosecco, because since it's not in a bottle, it isn't entitled to the designation.
A century-old family estate, organic since 2005, dedicated to polyculture and agroforestry, and energy self-sufficient since 2010 thanks to solar power… for Francesco Dissegna, environmental awareness is a calling. And his bubbles pay him back in kind!
His Vino Frizzante ("semi-sparkling"), with just a small 11 degrees of alcohol, is a huge favorite; tiny, ultra-fine, delicate, fruity, and authentic bubbles, just the way the gourmet Venetians like them, far from the tourist tracks.
At this stage, the wine doesn't just sparkle, it chirps! Enjoy chilled, on its own or in a cocktail (Spritz, Hugo, Bellini...).
As you can see, this is not a BIB (bag-in-box) but a pressurized keg with an integrated draft system. Serving it couldn't be simpler. The only thing to remember: chill the keg well before serving. At least 24 hours in the refrigerator.
After that, it works just like a self-contained beer keg. You pull the tab (the spout), set the CO2 valve to "1", and pour the glasses using the tap handle.

🤗 Our tasting & storage tips
🤗 Our tasting & storage tips
Recommended serving temperatures:
- White and rosé wines: between 7 and 10°C
- Light red wines, orange wines (skin-contact whites), and "blouges" (light red-white blends): around 13°C
- Structured red wines: between 15 and 18°C
It is always better to serve a wine slightly too cool than too warm.
BIB (bag-in-box) wines are very good if you serve them directly from the tap. But "to your surprise," you will find that they always benefit from being decanted or bottled 15 to 30 minutes before tasting.
Before and after opening, it is ideal to store your BIB wine at a constant temperature below 20°C. The closer the storage temperature is to 14°C, the longer the wine will keep.
Once opened, under good storage conditions, the BIB preserves the organoleptic qualities of the wine for at least 4 weeks.
BIB wine, like bottled wine, has no "use by" date or "best before" date.
That said, BIB wine is not intended for cellar aging. We recommend consuming it within 2 months of purchase.
Note: Red and orange wines keep better and longer than white and rosé wines. Thank the tannins for that!
Enjoy your tasting! 🍷🍷
