I love you but I'm thirsty... 2025 (Vin de France)
/
#New vintage
The iconic cuvée from the Prince of Muscadet, aka Vincent Caillé. A fruity golden juice, a perfect balance between zing and roundness, citrus and salinity, entirely at the service of our aperitifs, sardines, winkles, grilled octopus, spaghetti alle vongole...
It is under the sun (and the rain!) of Monnières, in the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation, that this lovely, thirst-quenching white finds its source, pampered from its earliest youth by the entire Caillé family.
It all starts in the vineyard, organic for 30 years, with some plots worked by horse to preserve the precious underground life as much as possible. Then comes manual, sorted harvesting, native yeasts as a rule, a slow 18-hour settling process to let the juice "feed" on its skin, then fermentation and aging in underground concrete tanks. And at the end of winter, invariably, love is in the air.
An absolute must for all fans of Melon de Bourgogne, highlighted this year with a hint of Sauvignon. And an essential for big occasions (we’re thinking in particular of your civil partnership, wedding, and of course... Valentine’s Day 😉).

🤗 Our tasting & storage tips
🤗 Our tasting & storage tips
Recommended serving temperatures:
- White and rosé wines: between 7 and 10°C
- Light red wines, orange wines (skin-contact whites), and "blouges" (light red-white blends): around 13°C
- Structured red wines: between 15 and 18°C
It is always better to serve a wine slightly too cool than too warm.
BIB (bag-in-box) wines are very good if you serve them directly from the tap. But "to your surprise," you will find that they always benefit from being decanted or bottled 15 to 30 minutes before tasting.
Before and after opening, it is ideal to store your BIB wine at a constant temperature below 20°C. The closer the storage temperature is to 14°C, the longer the wine will keep.
Once opened, under good storage conditions, the BIB preserves the organoleptic qualities of the wine for at least 4 weeks.
BIB wine, like bottled wine, has no "use by" date or "best before" date.
That said, BIB wine is not intended for cellar aging. We recommend consuming it within 2 months of purchase.
Note: Red and orange wines keep better and longer than white and rosé wines. Thank the tannins for that!
Enjoy your tasting! 🍷🍷
