Burgundy White 2024 (AOC)

Burgundian gem alert! Papy Jack has struck again... Following his Brouilly and Beaujolais, this time we honor his Bourgogne Blanc, a little chardonnay bombshell that has benefited from a long aging process—80% in jars and 20% in neutral barrels—all under the watchful eye of his friend Cyril Alonso, a master of sulfite-free winemaking!
Although unfiltered, the color is luminous. The nose is clean, with notes of pear, angelica, and fresh herbs. On the palate, the terracotta enhances the minerality, freshness, and fruit (citrus, vine peach), while the old barrels discreetly polish and lengthen the finish.
The result is sharp, chalky, mouth-watering, and saline. Delicious. It’s no wonder Fanfan Ganevat buys part of his grapes every year!
Needless to say, this Bourgogne Blanc will be a massive hit with your oysters, river fish, raw fish, Asian-inspired fresh dishes, aioli, crudités...

🤗 Our tasting & storage tips
🤗 Our tasting & storage tips
Recommended serving temperatures:
- White and rosé wines: between 7 and 10°C
- Light red wines, orange wines (skin-contact whites), and "blouges" (light red-white blends): around 13°C
- Structured red wines: between 15 and 18°C
It is always better to serve a wine slightly too cool than too warm.
BIB (bag-in-box) wines are very good if you serve them directly from the tap. But "to your surprise," you will find that they always benefit from being decanted or bottled 15 to 30 minutes before tasting.
Before and after opening, it is ideal to store your BIB wine at a constant temperature below 20°C. The closer the storage temperature is to 14°C, the longer the wine will keep.
Once opened, under good storage conditions, the BIB preserves the organoleptic qualities of the wine for at least 4 weeks.
BIB wine, like bottled wine, has no "use by" date or "best before" date.
That said, BIB wine is not intended for cellar aging. We recommend consuming it within 2 months of purchase.
Note: Red and orange wines keep better and longer than white and rosé wines. Thank the tannins for that!
Enjoy your tasting! 🍷🍷
