Wedding wine in a box: why it changes everything
Choosing wine for a wedding is often a source of stress: finding the right value for money, estimating quantities, coordinating delivery with the caterer, managing empty bottles at the end of the night… The bag-in-box (or BIB, or cask) provides an elegant solution to each of these problems. How much wine should I plan for a wedding?
The classic rule is to count on about half a bottle of wine per person for the meal (which is about 37.5 cl), to which you add 2 to 3 glasses per person for the cocktail hour and 1 to 2 glasses for the dance party. A 3-liter box is equivalent to 4 bottles of 75 cl, or about 24 glasses of 12.5 cl. It is an ideal format that adapts to all settings: rustic wedding, indoor reception, garden party, next-day brunch...
Organic wine for weddings: an increasingly popular choice
Couples planning an eco-friendly wedding or a zero-waste wedding are increasingly looking for organic wines for their reception.
