Exactly 280 in total, and not one more.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAnd what will you find in this 2023 Dernier Cru? Precisely all of Géraldine. Starting with the concentrated juice of her old Gamay vines, \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eplanted on the steep slopes of Thurins in the Coteaux du Lyonnais, hand-harvested, 50% destemmed, and vinified using a \"millefeuille\" layering technique, followed by 18 months of aging in stainless steel tanks.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe result lives up to the promise. The color is a fairly light ruby; the nose is quite ripe, with notes of blackcurrant and Burlat cherry. On the palate, the fruit remains king, but it is more structured than the color and nose might suggest. The juice has retained its tension and minerality, and the tannins are present but of great finesse.
